yesterday was spent in a harried frenzy looking for the perfect dress to attend a wedding on saturday. armed with a trusty boyfriend and his gal pal, i looked and looked and probably tried on about a billion dresses which none looked good on me. conclusion: TIME TO SHAPE UP YO.

at the tail end of our adventure, a very tired me shrugged and said "meh" to just about everything. i was gearing up to go in a brown paper bag at that point, when czeeyong, sweetheart that he is, stepped up and picked a lovely tube tent dress for me. it's not something that i would normally wear, but it was something different and it surprised me because all this time, i always dismissed czeeyong's taste in a lot of things (girls, clothes, girls... AHAHA). It is a nice change in perspective!

i also cannot wait for perhentian at this point. woot!

let nothing spoil my week from this point on!

except of course that assignment due friday.

i needed a perfect fit. none did. eventually, one after the other, each dress was thrown out, flung with abandon and left to litter the floor, their seams and pretty chiffon looking morose and lonely. there's always that one dress that hides behind a whole rack of dishevelled, less qualified, slightly dingier rags that get picked up anyway.

i couldn't find it. the perfect dress.

but of course i had to find something else totally unexpected.

wish i could tear that dress in half, wish i'd never met it, wish i'd took a scissors and ran through it with unhesitating fingers.

As in science, we try to mimic their natural environments as much as possible.

i just found out about this site called chatroulette.com . It's like speed dating, except you're on the internet using a webcam and your earphones and the speaker. You get connected to a random stranger, and at any time you choose to, you can disconnect yourself from the person by pressing next and another stranger will then come up to talk to you.

It's SO FUNNY because the most ridiculously hilarious people go on chatroulette and do really stupid stuff. It's the newest internet sensation with about 1 million new users daily, so you heard from it here first at my site - unless you subscribe to the awesomeness that is google reader. We here at asia will probably get wind of it in another 6 months -_-
