The skies were bluer than blue, and the sun was shining despite freezing to our socks. It was perfect. I edited nothing except added rounded edges to photos.

Adi took us out to visit a temple in nearby Springvale. I came here three years ago, also with them, after being groped by some asshole and getting stalked by a freak in the middle of the night. Adi and May shipped me to the temple to pray for safety then. Guess I returned to ensure that I would not be harassed for the remainder of my trip! X)

We paid our spiritual debt before going to Sexyland nearby to look at sex paraphernalia HAHAHA. kids please don't try this at home. bad example.

adi brought us to st. kilda which was gorgeous. we passed luna park on the way there. i took lots of photos with czeeyong's pen camera which you will see later. It was also freezing and the wind was in our skin, chilling to the bone. Note to self: when near ocean in winter, please put on more layers. don't be a hero.

i would recommend this place for any photographer enthusiast. Lots of scenery to provide a perfect training ground. But be careful of the wind, else your camera might fly into the sea.

this swan was super random. seriously. i thought they only exist in lakes (Swan Lake, Ugly Duckling.... LOL)

I love labs. be still, my heart. He was the only doggie without a leash because he walked at heel the whole time. He didn't need one. So smatttt

We did see a little penguin underneath all those rocks, but it was impossible to take a photo without turning on the flash so I didn't. Just take my word for it, we saw a penguin x)

i'm finally back home, after a week traipsing along melbourne's wintery streets with people i have not seen for quite some time, and going from meeting to meeting in Manila, presenting for the first time, exhausted and missing connection.
i leave you with my favourite photo of people who were really very very sweet and kind to me during my holiday in melbourne.

and one thing i've also realized that i have: incredibly sweet people back home as well. i'm never really capable of realizing what i have until they are lost, and it's good that i realize that now.

i think i have to control my potty mouth. because ever so often, the irritation leaks out and transcends into rude retorts.
thing is, most of the time, i don't start anything.
but there's probably a tag on my forehead that says take your best shot to my mother's eyes.
sigh. this relationship is very flawed.

i like this picture a lot
and it's probably her attitude that makes the whole picture work. also, the little details. love her round round sunglasses and the chic blazer
why do i live here again where it's perpetually 100 degrees? this look is very wearable here though, just need a thinner blazer and you are good to go. and also 10k to buy a real chanel bag.
and i know it's a major fashion faux paux but i love her inner pockets peeking out of her denim shorts.
XP
it's pretty easy to do. i have two pairs of really old ugly dated jeans which i snipped off with a pair of scissors. one i let it live free, and left the hem to fray and do as it pleased. the other pair, i rolled up the hem and sewed along the edges to make it neater.
eg.1 : denim shorts chopped off with scissors with frayed bits here (where adi and may and me and czeeyong were shoppin' in phuket :p)

eg 2. um. i nohafapicoftheotherone
the real reason why i did it was because i was too cheapskate to pay a hundred bucks for a pair of denim shorts lol. even though i love them so.
