no wonder cough medicine makes you loopy
today being the first day of school, was like the first day of hell -_-
a place where i am not making any money, have to get up really early unwillingly (i willingly got up ridiculously early daily to go work for my dad selling SEA CUCUMBER and i cannot wake up early to go to uni, the irony) and feel so alone in a place teeming with people.
but! one thing that i learnt is why cough medicine makes you loopy.
during pharmacology, my lecturer (who by the way, has done an oprah and slimmed down twice her size from last year. O_O) was talking to us about side effects and one of the reasons why cough medicine can make you high is because it contains codeine which is basically, a form of narcotic (correct me if I'm wrong, my pharmacist reader 
)
Oooo.
no wonder some people get high on prescription drugs

cough meds do contain codeine but not all
esp since there is so many out there..depends on what brand it is..u should check their active ingredients.
in sg its so strict that they keep those containing codeine in locked cabinets and it is not dispensed so readily..
n once in a while if a druggie pops by...u can say "oh out of stock" so that they can go bug a neighboring pharmacist .. whaahah
ure lecturer is impressive ( the weight loss i mean )

i hate uni. sigh. i hate group work. i hate group presentations. i hate hate hate hate hate hate. if not for the group work it'll be fine but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
